Questions homeowners ask
How much ceiling height do I need?
The 8-foot models have a 94.5" column height and fit most standard garages. The 10-foot models have a 114" column height for taller garages and give you more room underneath.
Can I park under it?
Yes. The 8-foot models leave 67" under the platform, enough for most cars. The 10-foot models leave 84", enough for most SUVs and pickups.
How much weight does it hold?
Every model lifts up to 1,500 lbs., enough for riding mowers, motorcycles, golf carts, ATVs, and more.
Is the platform deck material included?
No. The lift and platform frame are included, and you supply the deck material. That lets you choose the surface that works best for what you're storing. Call us and we'll help you figure out what you need.
What power does it need?
It plugs into a standard 110V outlet and lifts at 6.5 feet per minute. Wire it for 220V and it lifts twice as fast, 13 feet per minute.
Does it use hydraulic oil?
No. The Vantage lift system has no hydraulic cylinders and no hydraulic oil, so there's nothing to leak or top off.
What do I need for installation?
The column anchors to your concrete floor, which should be at least 3.5" thick. The single-column design lets you install it along a side wall, front wall, or in a corner.
