About Truman
We grew up in this industry.
Truman Tools & Equipment was built by industry veterans to make buying shop equipment simple again: see it in person, talk to real experts, and buy from brands we stand behind.
Our Story
Our leadership team has spent decades in the automotive equipment business, long enough to help pioneer the direct-to-consumer model that changed how shops buy lifts, tire changers, and wheel balancers.
But somewhere along the way, buying shop equipment started to feel like a gamble. Endless websites, no one to talk to, and no way to see a lift before you bought it. So we built something better.
A real showroom, a carefully chosen lineup of brands, and a team of experts who pick up the phone.
See it before you buy
Walk the floor, watch a tire changer run, and check out a lift before it's in your shop.
Brands we stand behind
We carry a few brands we know inside and out instead of dozens we don't.
Support after the sale
Real people who answer the phone long after your equipment is installed.
