Product Description
The Atlas TC221 is a rim-clamp, swing-arm tire changer built for home garages, small shops, and ATV or motorcycle dealers who want to bring tire service in-house. It handles tires up to 39" in diameter and clamps rims from 9 3/4" to 23 1/4" from the outside.
It's designed to protect expensive wheels. The turntable jaws accept plastic covers and adjust to three positions along the turntable to cover a wide range of wheels, and the side-mounted bead breaker loosens stubborn, rusted beads without damaging the rim. A 1 HP motor delivers 885 ft-lbs of turntable torque on standard 110V power.
The TC221 is built the same as the TC229, without the built-in Beadblaster. If you work on stiff sidewall tires that are hard to seat, the TC229 adds it. Some assembly is required.
