Product Description

The Atlas Garage PRO8000 is the simplest way to double your garage space. Drive one vehicle up, park another underneath, and reclaim your driveway. With 8,000 lb. capacity and 67" of clearance under the raised runways, it stacks most passenger cars with room to spare.

It's built for home garages, car collectors, and restoration shops. It isn't designed for commercial repair shops where a lift is raised and lowered many times a day, so if that's your use, give us a call and we'll point you to the right lift.

Free plastic drip trays, a steel jack tray, and a caster kit with polyurethane wheels come standard. The casters go on or come off in minutes, so the lift can move between bays or even outside. It runs on standard 110V power with a 30 amp breaker, and many owners add the Atlas RJ35 bridge jack to lift the wheels free for service.

Questions before you buy

Should I get the PRO8000, PRO8000EXT, or PRO9000?

The PRO8000 and PRO8000EXT have the same footprint. The difference is height. The PRO8000 gives you 67" under the runways, enough to park most cars below. The EXT gives you 79", enough for an SUV or pickup. For 3/4-ton trucks or duallys, go with the Garage PRO9000.

Will it fit under my garage ceiling?

It's one of our best fits for lower ceilings, with 83" (6' 11") columns. For your ceiling, add the height of the vehicle on top to the 72" lifting height, plus a few inches of room.

Does it need to be bolted to my floor?

No. It's freestanding and comes with a caster kit, so you can roll it to a new spot when it's lowered.

What kind of power does it need?

Standard 110V household power on a 30-amp breaker.

What comes with it?

It comes with the caster kit, steel approach ramps, a steel jack tray, 4 drip trays, 4 wheel stops, and 2 wheel chocks. The only thing you'll need to buy is hydraulic oil, which you can get at a farm supply or auto parts store.

Can I pick it up at the showroom?

Yes. It's an 1,800 lb package about 14 feet long, so bring a car trailer or flatbed 16 feet or longer, and we'll load it for you.

What's the warranty?

2 years structural and 1 year on hydraulics (parts only).

Have enjoyed the lift so far. The only "difficult" part of putting it together is moving/lifting the 2 sections that the car will rest on, including the one heavy section with the hydraulic ram, due to weight. You just need 4 adults to move those 2 parts IMO. Everything else can be done by yourself or with one other person. Online videos are very helpful on how to put it together. Written instructions can be unclear. I would estimate it as a 5-6 hour project to unpack and erect everything. It has worked well so far and I would buy it again.
